Budget & Appropriations

FY 2011 Funding for CSBG is governed by the Continuing Resolution that expires March 4, 2011. Click here for the state distributions under the third CR.

H.R. 1, the House Appropriations Bill for the balance of FY 2011 that was filed on February 11, 2011, contains $100 M for the balance of the year.

FY 2012 Funding for CSBG: The President's Budget Request will be $350 million, or half the FY 2010 level of regular fundung (i.e. not counting the $1 Billion of ARRA CSBG funds that CAAs used to assist many hard-working families hurt by the economic down turn and to create over 18,000 full-time equivalent jobs by the summer of 2010.).

LIHEAP FUNDING 2011 was made available in the CR under an unusual formula that released more than 80% of the FY 2010 level, almost $4.1 Billion. HR 1 contains just over $4.7 billion, of which $200 million is for the Emergenc Contingency Fund. $250 M was previously released from the Contingency Fund. See our chart of states' funding status as of Jan 25.

Weatherization "regular"  PY 2011 funding would be eliminated under HR 1, a cut of $210 M from PY 2010.
