CAPFacts Subscription Package

2024 CAPFacts subscription is now open!

We pride ourselves in having unparalleled access to key decision-makers in Congress. NCAF’s legislative updates on advocacy efforts are an invaluable tool that the Community Action Network has come to rely on over many years as they plan future activities.

As you’re aware, NCAF has been a tireless advocate in Washington on behalf of the entire Community Action Network for over 40 years! Our work with seven different presidential administrations and 21 different Congresses has been essential in keeping the Community Action Network secure and relevant no matter the political climate.

A CAPFacts subscription will provide you with key insights into NCAF’s activities, whether it’s:

  • Our budget and appropriations work;

  • Authorization of the Weatherization Assistance Program and the Community Services Block Grant;

  • Taking advantage of opportunities for the Network in emerging legislative priorities, like the $1 billion for CSBG in the CARES Act or the $3.5 billion for WAP in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act;

  • Communicating regularly with Congress about needs, problems and opportunities on behalf of the Network.

One of NCAF’s responsibilities is to secure funding for all the essential elements of the Community Action Network. Whether its HHS, state administrators, local CAAs, national partners, state associations – they all receive CSBG funding because of NCAF’s work. Ironically, NCAF is the only organization in the Network that does not benefit financially from the work we do within Congress and the Administration. NCAF has never received, nor applied for, any federal funding. Consequently, your CAPFacts subscription is an essential element in maintaining NCAF’s effectiveness.

A CAPFacts subscription entitles your agency to NCAF’s frequent legislative and policy updates, as well as any breaking news of importance to the Community Action Network. Whether you’re reading a CAPBrief, CAPFacts or QuickFacts, you’ll be able to follow events in Congress and the Administration throughout the entire calendar year. And here’s the good news: CAA’s may use federal funds to subscribe to CAPFacts in order to receive information about the availability and status of Community Action funding, which helps your agency budget and plan for the year ahead.
